Bayarpar Foundation Bread Winner Project

The proverb “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime” is at the heart of an initiative launched by Bayarpar Foundation.

The Foundation wants to help individuals provide for their family and therefore minimise reliance on handouts and charitable donations.

How do you improve skills of individuals so that they can generate income and feed their family? What kind of skills are in demand in Bangladesh? Considering many of the poor individuals may not be educated what skills can you teach?

These are all fundamental questions that requires well though out answers for a project to be successful in Bangladesh.

Bayarpar Foundation have the necessary skills, insight and understanding of the struggles of individuals in Bangladesh and have initiated this pilot project to create opportunities and enable individuals to generate income for their family.

The pilot project would provide tools and the training where necessary to allow poor individuals to generate income for their family. Equipment’s such as Sewing Machine, Water Pumps, Paddy ploughing machine, Rikshaws and Tuk Tuk’s are examples of tools that would give a person the means to generate income.

Bayarpar Foundation bread winner project would enable individuals to own those tools over time and gain access to more tools where they are successfully.
